1. Acceptance of terms
By using Serpens Docs (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms for that organization.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be old enough to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your login credentials and all activity under your account.
3. Your content and license to us
You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload ("Customer Content"). You grant Serpens a license to host, process, and transmit your content solely to provide and improve the Service for you.
4. AI-generated outputs
You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated outputs before relying on them. Outputs may be inaccurate and do not constitute legal, financial, or medical advice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, upload malicious code, or infringe on third-party rights. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Service and its components (excluding your content) are owned by Serpens and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited license to use the Service as intended.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." We disclaim all warranties and do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
Serpens will not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. We will revise the "Last updated" date and provide notice where appropriate.
